The design principles I used when designing my website included creating clear and consistent sections with headers and bolded letters as well as using spacers and columns to show different topics. Something that I liked about creating the website was getting to explore the different functions that Weebly has to offer. Being introduced to the map, calendar, and form functions were things that I had never seen before on a website that could be helpful in my future of designing. Something I didn't like however was the stubborn qualities of the application. When I tried to adjust the dimensions of certain images or backgrounds, there were limitations on what I could do making some of my images seem elongated or disproportional. In my future I can use this website design tool to create my own teacher website where I update parents, students, and faculty about the ongoing policies and events in my classroom

A creative way I can use QR codes in my classroom is to create a scavenger hunt with different review questions or problems. I can have the students travel around the classroom answering questions on each QR code to unlock the next location of the other codes. This not only utilizes the technology aspect, but also gets their bodies moving and reinforces content learned in class. These QR codes can also be recycled to include forms that can easily be adjusted to a new chapter or lesson.

Ethical Case:

Scenario:
AI can automate many tasks, but over-relying on it might reduce personal interactions with students, which are crucial for their emotional and social development.

Dilemma:
AI can increase efficiency, but how do you ensure it doesn’t replace the meaningful human connection with your students?

In order to keep my work ethical I will make sure that I am purely using AI to complete time-consuming and objective tasks and keep all personal work to myself. This ensures that I create a meaningful relationship with my students and utilize Generative AI in an ethical way. This will not only make sure all work is graded correctly and fairly but also build trust between my students and I. Overall, using generative AI to grade and review work can be done ethically as long as the teacher prioritizes their students and relationships over the quick and easy route of grading.

  1. I like the layout, theme and organization of your website. I feel it aligns with the CRAP requirements as it is all cohesive and aligned and easy to read.
