     I enjoy blogging because it allows me to share my opinions and experiences about a variety of topics. It is an outlet for expressing myself through writing and also sharing information with other people in the class. Through these assignments I have learned a lot about blogging and how I could potentially use it in the future. Finding other teachers who blog could also be very useful for me to find other resources for my personal learning network. 

    I believe that using AI in the classroom can be helpful when creating lesson plans and generating new and unique ideas. With all of this in mind, it is still very important to check the accuracy and validity of the content it generates because it could be incorrect. AI will keep on improving as time goes on and it will be a ever present factor in my students' lives so I must be able to keep up with the technology in order to best educate my students. Though I do think it can be helpful for teachers, student usage of generative AI can lead to many infractions of academic integrity which raises another concern as a K-12 teacher. 

    While completing my Generative AI Lesson Plan I used the ChatGPT website and gave it clear instructions on what to create. I noticed that in order for it to produce my desired outcome I had to specify exactly what I needed or it would not be the correct format, components, age group, etc. Next time I try to use AI I will make sure to check each section of the lesson plan and make sure that it didn't forget any materials or details within the bigger picture. I will also make sure that it is realistic for the classroom that I am in. While some of the lessons it may generate are very creative, the resources necessary may not be available for my classroom environment. 

    I will use Generative AI in my future classroom in order to generate ideas in any moment of burnout or lack of creative energy. I can also use it to locate different resources that will be useful in my career such as new news on education, child development, etc. This can help me continue my professional development and keep up to date on education without having to search the internet. In order to address the ethical issues I will instate AI checks in order to see what students are using AI to complete their assignments. I will also use physical hands on materials in order to make it impossible to use AI to complete the assignment.

       As a student, my school (K-8) used primarily Google applications such as Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Classroom in order to perform any online assignments. Due to this I had become more proficient in these online platforms than Microsoft. In high school, however, my school used strictly Microsoft as their base of technology and so I have gotten to explore how to use these applications as well. I still prefer to use Google Docs when word processing due to the simple nature and automatic saving to the drive. This limits the amount of issues or small mistakes that can occur with any assignment I may be completing.      The ISTE standard that is most meaningful to me is 2.6 Designer.       There are many issues that could be caused from including technology in your classroom. One of the biggest problems that occur with technology in classrooms is students being involved in academic dishonestly. This includes but is not limited to unethical use of AI, copy and pasting direct info without correct citation, and searching up answers to online tests. My solution to this issue in my classroom would be to make my assignments due on paper and not typed. In addition to this being better for learning and memorization of the content, it will also make sure that the work is their own. I also could make sure that any of the online assignments that I assign have AI checkers and limited servers in order to track all use of the computer and online resources.      The topic of copyright and fair use is something I have not explored in school before.
